Beryl Jachimovitz is founder and president of Eretz Realty. His journey into real estate has been an unconventional but successful one, beginning in education. After graduating from CUNY in 1966 with a degree in mathematics, he began his career as a public high school teacher in advanced mathematics. But in the early 1970s, to support his growing family, Beryl received his broker’s license and began selling homes in the Boro Park section of Brooklyn. Soon, he met with enough success to quit his day job and focus on selling real estate full time.
In 1978, Beryl established Eretz Realty with his wife and partner Esther. At first, they specialized in residential properties throughout the Greater New York Area. But, as the firm grew, they expanded into the commercial arena, representing national chains such as Family Dollar, Rite Aid, Dunkin Donuts, Burger King and many others.
From the start, Beryl has always viewed himself as a matchmaker between buyer and seller. His main focus and the key to his success is ensuring that each deal done is done with honesty and both parties – buyer and seller – are happy and confident with every deal.
